May or not need a light polishing up before installation. This item was obtained from an old service garage and is not a remanufactured part. According to my Hudson manual, this is the first type forged arm and used on following model's years: 1940, early. All model's the assembly is brand new, never used condition and shows no sign of ever being mounted or installed.

It does have some very minor surface rust on from many years of shelf storage. There is a handwritten parts tag still attached to the piece. Cast on the piece is r.
