I am pretty sure that this is the 1947K as it does not fit m y car which calls for 1947d. Most likely got mixed up during the rebuild. I have included pictures with dimensions so you can check to see if it will fit your application.

The 1947K will fit many Oldsmobile and Packard's from 1949 to works smoothly no leaks end caps have 2 different part numbers. Rebuilt shock never installed.
