I suggest that once installed and wheels are pointed straight forward it be torqued again. And a new aftermarket lock nut as close to original installed.
Also included to sweeten the deal is a set of new mounting bolts nuts and frame washers from amok products. I did not replace it because at the time no correct replacement bushing was available, ones for manual steering without serrated teeth only option. I had also read that in time period 6 cylinder equipped units were the same. This part was cleaned up and a new frame side bushing pressed in the link end is original.
This is an original fomoco 2 piece design idler arm it shows some deterioration. This has a torque limit value. It is at or close to that spec.
