Don't think they need to be turned machined sold as is. Linings look nice and thick so certainly have a ton of life left in them. According to my research they will fit on the front or rear on disk wheel steel wheels on 1500 cars and rear of disk wheel 1600 cars. I will list them at if you want them.

The brake shoes look new to me and will work on front or back. Found no ridges.
