The A225-550RK coil-over kit from Viking Performance is a high-quality suspension upgrade for 1988-1999 Impala, Camaro, and Vi-King vehicles, as well as 1973-1996 Vi-King and 1970-1981 C10 trucks. This kit offers a superior replacement for the original OEM coil springs and shocks, providing improved handling, ride quality, and overall performance.
The A225-550RK kit includes a set of Viking Performance's renowned coil-over shocks, which are engineered for superior damping control and durability. The shocks feature adjustable damping rates, allowing you to fine-tune the ride to your preference, whether you prioritize comfort, handling, or a balance between the two. The monotube design ensures smooth and consistent damping performance, while the high-quality materials and construction ensure long-lasting reliability.
The coil springs included in the kit are designed to provide a lower ride height and improved load-carrying capacity compared to the stock springs. Made of high-tensile steel, these springs are engineered to provide a progressive rate, which means they offer more support as they compress, reducing sag and improving stability. The springs are also adjustable, allowing you to fine-tune the ride height for your specific application.
Installation of the A225-550RK kit is relatively straightforward, but may require some basic suspension disassembly and reassembly. Viking Performance provides detailed installation instructions with every kit, as well as technical support to help answer any questions you may have during the installation process.
In summary, the A225-550RK coil-over kit from Viking Performance is a high-quality suspension upgrade that provides improved handling, ride quality, and performance for 1988-1999 Impala, Camaro, and Vi-King vehicles, as well as 1973-1996 Vi-King and 1970-1981 C10 trucks. With adjustable shocks and springs, this kit allows you to fine-tune the ride to your preference, while providing superior durability and reliability.

Recommendation:If you're looking to improve the handling and performance of your 1988-1999 Impala Camaro, the A225-550RK VI-King coil-overs are a worthwhile investment. They offer adjustability, durability, and improved performance, but they come with a higher price tag and potential compatibility issues. I can not confirm whether they fit any applications, other than checking the Vi King catalog. This is a set of like new front coil over, double adjustable shocks, 550lb spring rate. Otherwise, these have never been driven down the road. Per Vi King catalog, fits Camaro, Chevy C10 2wd pickups, and Impala.
There is a small scuff scrape on one shock, and anti seize was used on the thrust bearings and adjusting nut. Includes 2 front shocks, coil springs, thrust bearings, installation hardware, and spanner wrenches.
They were only installed for mock up purposes on a custom street rod build.
